Yes, There are Other Fitness Brands Besides Gymshark

As the Instagram induced fitness craze picks up, I just need to fill you in something. Gymshark and the classic brands (Nike, Adidas etc.) aren’t the only ones that exist and there are definitely cuter ones out there. I don’t know about you, but I love going to the gym and what I love even more is when I get to wear a cute fit to the gym. Sounds ridiculous but it actually puts me in a better mood and I’m sure some of you feel the same. The downside of this entire post and all of these brands (including the ones up top) are that they are so ridiculously expensive. Like to the point of me considering putting them on a Christmas list instead of buying them out of pocket right now. But then again, if you’re not broke like me, go shop until you drop.
1. Doyoueven
This brand is getting pretty popular but it’s still my absolute favorite, mostly because I’m in love with their leggings. Leggings, to me, are so hard to find because I’m not all about the spandex-y feel of Gymshark leggings or Nikes so that is why Doyoueven’s leggings are just about only ones I’d spend real money on. They also come in cute sets that don’t look too much like a matching set which I love AND they always restock super quickly (something a lot of fitness brands don’t do), which means that you can always grab a pair of their leggings or one of their sweaters (also lomls). The prices pretty much align with Gymshark but I guarantee that you’ll love these contour leggings a lot more than the spandex-y feel of some other pair.
2. Saski Collection
This one isn’t for us broke people but in case you feel like going in debt, do yourself a favor and check out Saski Collection. This is the most creative and NOT basic fitness brand I’ve come across by FAR. They have literally everything you can think of including leggings (I’m not the biggest fan of the spandex feel) and sports bras to everything you didn’t know you needed like cropped long sleeves (which I’m in love with) and sweat sets (again, in love). The brand’s whole concept is thinking out of the box for workout apparel instead of the same old which I think is executed so well. Like I said, this is not for the girls with a negative sign in their checking account but if you can afford it, it’s 100% worth the money.
3. Nvgtn
The only other fitness brand whose leggings I love almost as much as Doyoueven’s is Nvgtn. The leggings are again, contour, which are my faves but the entire line that they put out every few months just is so cute and looks super comfortable. My faves besides the leggings are the cropped shirts which look so simple but are actually so flattering and come in a million colors. I also am in LOVE with their biker shorts that fit all sizes so well (I’m short so I have a real problem finding biker shorts that aren’t too long and these do the job so well). Honestly, I love everything this brand puts out BUT the downside is that they only launch their products every few months. This doesn’t seem like a problem until you realize everything sells out the day they launch and then aren’t restocked until their next launch date a couple months later. SO follow the brand on Insta to see their launch dates and snag something quick next time they do drop a line.
4. NEU Apparel
Last but not least, NEU Apparel (AKA my first non-mainstream fitness love). Again, I don’t come here for the leggings but so many people love them so maybe give them a try. I do, however, come here for the sports bras. I have such a hard time finding sports bras that do the work of a shirt and the work of an actual bra but NEU figured out that combo awhile ago. They have 2-in-1 sports bras that are a lot cuter than they sound and also have compression sports bras that also act as cute cropped tops. They also have all their products in the BEST colors. Yes, they do have the classics like black but they also have light pink or light blue or my favorite, white. And FINALLY, they don’t break the bank (… as much as the other brands). Everytime I need a new sports bra I am looking on here but they also sell such cute bikinis and other workout clothes like sweat sets, leggings, and biker shorts. They really have it all and I don’t know how they’re not as popular (I am predicting they will be, just watch).
So for those of you on the gym craze, I hope you check these brands out because they really are the best out of such a saturated market. Also, these brands have sales all the time (especially NEU Apparel) so definitely be looking out for them on Insta or just check their websites from time to time to find the best prices for the products.
