Because it’s gotten colder, I know that getting up in the morning and looking halfway decent to class isn’t your priority (it’s more of something you wish could happen but seems too hard) and I completely get it. Why would I take the time to put in effort and wear jeans when I could just wear sweatpants? And I honestly, completely relate. But as the last month has gone on, I’ve found ways to stay comfy, look like I tried, and completely get away with it. I promise it’s easier than you think.
1. Dressing Up Your Fav Sweatpants
This is by far the most comfy and easy outfit on this list because you can literally wear the sweatpants you were sleeping in (I know right). If the pants are on the baggier side, add a tighter long sleeve (or short, if you like to freeze) that’s more on the cropped side. If your pants are on the tighter side, the fitted long sleeve works but you can also try a loose cropped shirt, depending on (again) how cold you are trying to be. Throw on some of your fav sneakers and a jacket (my favorite for this outfit are Teddy Coats or, if you’re like me, leather jackets) and you’re good to go. I guarantee this outfit would take you a total of 5 minutes so you don’t need to set your alarm as early as you do right now.

2. Same Jeans 2 Days in a Row?
If you do feel like you can force yourself to change out of your pajamas, first, kudos, and second, why not wear your favorite jeans? And if you’re saying oh I wore them yesterday, think again. The easiest way to wear your fav jeans a million days in a row is just by changing the entire look. I have these black jeans that I LOVE but because they have some rips, they’re easily spotted, which means if I wanna wear them multiple days in a row I wear something totally different. For example, adding a hoodie with a leather jacket or even denim jacket completely transforms the look while still making you feel so comfy because it’s just a hoodie. This is my go to because you can wear the hoodie you wore to bed and still feel so warm, so why wouldn’t you?

3. Sweatpants… and Boots?
Okay, hear me out. Think of your fav tight sweats (baggier ones may look a little much in this situation) and then think of your fav boots. While what you’re specifically thinking about may not work in your head, picture this: tight sweatpants, a pair of boots (my favorites include my Jeffery Campbells or Doc Martens), and a tight, cropped long sleeve. Looks like a little better right? This may be a little harder for some people but for the girls who have the pieces, TRY IT. I’ve tried it with my Jeffery Campbells, gray Adidas sweatpants, and a gray Shein long sleeve crop. It works but it may be a little edgier then you’re used to, and if that’s the case then try what’s down below.

These outfits are probably what I’ve worn all week especially because its midterm season. But I promise you, they’re as simple and comfortable as you’re thinking right now. So don’t stress the next time your alarm goes off and you’re late or when you physically can’t get out of bed because you already have your outfit figured out. Happy shopping!!
